So in theory the polls on facebook are a good idea.
It can help with Research projects, and help you find out opinions of your peers.
But what if your opinions are not the same?
And what if knowing someone feels a certain way, upsets you?
I had a friend who use to go to church with me every sunday.
I prayed and prayed for him for the longest time.
Finally he got saved and baptized.
Well now its about 2 years later, and lets say he's no longer on the right path.
I found this out through a facebook poll.
Yes I know he drinks, and yes I know he does things that Christianity teaches against, but I never thought that he would go as far as he just did.
The poll question was "Is there a God?"
I had no friends who had answered No, and this made me happy.
Untill I saw it was updated.
My friend had answered with "no."
I don't think that people understand the sevarity of things like this.
Do they not understand that that is blaspheming the holy spirit?
That is sending you straight to hell in a hand basket.
No im not being preachy, I'm being conserned.
This person means a lot to me, and I don't want to see them go to Hell.
People don't understand what they are doing when they say there is no God.
Believe what you want.
At one point, you believed there was a God.
What has changed?
Do you expect him to give you everything you want?
A perfect life?
Because that is NOT what being a christian is about at all.
Just because you changed doesn't mean the people around you have.
If your friends and parents don't get saved too then they are not going to change.
This upsets me.
You know there is a God.
Or atleast when you die you'll find out.
Peace.
